Kisoro Medical Camp, 24th to 27th October 2019
UPSA(Uganda Pharmaceutical Students’ Association) under the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda is planning to host a medical camp in Kisoro district on the 24th to 27th October 2019. The medical camp is expected to expand the influence of the students in the community. We also hope to sensitize the community about the pharmacy profession and make it popular among the people.
The health camp will be composed of the bachelor in pharmacy students, other medical students and health professionals in the various fields. we also hope to partner with various health service providers to provide the services we have to offer.
The services to offer include general outpatient services, blood glucose testing, hepatitis B screening, sickle cell disease screening, ophthalmic screening, HIV testing and counseling, nutrition education and mass deworming, reproductive health education and rational drug use campaign and assessment.
